On Saturday afternoon, a reported hazard on U.S. 35 near Jefferson Street prompted the temporary closure of multiple lanes in Montgomery County.

 

According to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center, the initial call regarding the potential hazard was received around 10:30 a.m.

 

In response, authorities closed lanes at U.S. 35 and Steve Whalen Boulevard, as well as the ramp from U.S. 35 at Keowee Street.

 

By 4:04 p.m., the OH-GO traffic map indicated that all lanes had reopened and traffic was moving smoothly.
